Senen Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Zulfahmi conveyed, collapsed retaining wall with length 100 meters and height 5 meters has been repaired since mid December 2021. The repair work is targeted to be completed in February 2022.

"This work is carried out to follow up on request from RW 02 residents because there are several points that collapsed due to age," he said, Friday (1/7).

Currently, repair progress has reached 25 percent or 25 meters long. They faced several problems, such as in transporting material, because they still transport it manually because access to the location is quite narrow. His side deployed 20 SDA personnel who implemented strict health protocols.

"After it is repaired, we hope residents will no longer throw garbage to the river and prevent construction of illegal buildings on the river banks," he mentioned.

RW 02 Head of Paseban Urban Village, Ismail appreciated Senen Sub-district SDA Unit who have followed up their request regarding retaining wall repair.

"I think the progress is quite fast and neat. Local residents thank for their quick response to repair Sentiong River's retaining wall in our area," he stated.
